3rd Annual Yorkshire Artist’s Competition and Exhibition

It’s that
time again and Browns Gallery of Otley would like to invite you to enter the 3rd
Annual Art competition to promote local artistic talent.
The
Competition:
Create, in
any medium, a picture inspired by novels and children’s tales. The picture
should be titled using the particular book or story from which it is taken and
is open to interpretation, so let your imagination run wild!
There are
three categories this year: 10 years and under, 11 to 18 years and 18 years and
over (18 year olds may choose to enter ONE of these two categories). Each person
may enter just one piece of work which will be offered for sale in the gallery
for a two week period. Due to limited space, pictures must not exceed an image
size of 30x20 inches.

for more information, please collect an application form from;
Browns Gallery, Stephen Smiths Garden Centre or the Wharfedale and
Airedale Observer Office. Entries will be on a first come,
first served basis so don’t delay.
The final day for finished
entries is 20th April, but due to limited space,
the applications will be accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis.
