Born into a farming family and raised on a small mixed farm near Harrogate Sandra only discovered her artistic talents at the age of 20. Her 21st birthday saw her presented with an easel and setting up a small studio in a caravan on the farm. From that moment she was hooked. After setting aside her paints to raise a family Sandra has now rediscovered her love for painting.

Her inner affection for sheep and cattle comes from her background and her work is all dedicated to the memory of her father, a true hardened sheep farmer who was always encouraging Sandra to follow her love of art until he sadly passed away in 2009.
