The Story So Far...!
Pictures
need space to look their best and big pictures need even more space! From
it's original premises across the road, the gallery moved onto the corner of
Boroughgate and Wesley Street in Otley, allowing to expand further and offer a
wider selection of products and services, as well as hosting a number of
exhibitions.

Artists
The gallery displays many pictures from the top artists including David
Shepherd, Steven Townsend, Sir William Russell Flint, Tony Forrest,
Mackenzie Thorpe, Rolf Harris, Doug Hyde, etc and also well known local artists
such as Graham Carver. |

Products
In
addition to the most comprehensive range of pictures, we also offer a full
bespoke picture framing service and an attractive range of gifts
including perfume bottles from Egypt, bronze
art, unusual glass figures and Border Fine Art.

Services
Browns Gallery offer two
unusual services. We will seek out particular pictures of your choice and
we will offer for sale carefully selected pictures which people wish to
dispose of. |

The Building
We
have converted the old Otley Building Society ground floor into a spacious
picture gallery keeping many of the original fine features of the
building, including fitting the replacement entrance in the original style. Thomas
Chippendale, the famous Otley furniture maker, was born on this site.
